Came close, you breezy bastard, but the GTI survives. I spent a good two hours trying to find a restaurant with the Browns-Steelers on Sunday night after Ike came through town and shut down the power. They were all packed. I ended up spending 20 minutes in a Burger King drive-thru and eating at work, where the building is powered by generators. sweet.
Other stuff and such and the likewise:
- My computer at work is like a small child that hates going to bed and does anything it can to delay sleep. It can sense 6 p.m. approaching and begins gradually slowing operations until it's nearly impossible to surf the internet. I think this officially makes wasting my time, a waste of my time.
If I want to leave at 6 p.m., I have to start shutting down about 4:30 p.m. if I'm lucky, the browser will be down by then.
- I'm going on the assumption that all of you know in case a traffic light is out, you treat this stop as a typical four-way stop. Many apparently do not know this. I might have called someone a bad name because of their lack of knowledge. I apologize. But SERIOUSLY, hit the gas MOFO.
- Will one of my friends in the financial industry let me know when I need to start putting my cash in a mattress? awesome.
- I'm tired of talking about Sarah Palin. or hearing about her. or hearing other people talk about her. Anybody remember John McCain? the guy actually running for prexie?
